Meet Emerald D. Taylor.

If there’s one thing that brings out Emerald Taylor’s passion, it’s her community.

The new community advocate for Bank Central in Colorado Springs, Taylor is leading the charge to help low- and moderate-income residents obtain mortgages and financial stability.

Taylor brings a wealth of community experience and mortgage expertise to the role, including nearly five years as a life insurance broker with Primerica, where she helped educate and assist families on how to protect incomes, leave a legacy and manage investments for retirement.

Adding to the list of things she’s passionate about: mortgages. She believes in developing community and helping people grow wealth – and understands home ownership is a major step on the path to financial security for local families. And her experience at three different mortgage firms assisting loan originators is vital to her new role.

Taylor also built community through her role as campaign manager and former aide for a newly elected State House Representative, who recently finished the first session in the Colorado General Assembly.

She believes in economic empowerment, in equity and in finding financial ways to improve both for the community. She has an associate degree from National American University in Colorado Springs and a digital marketing certificate from Penn Online.

Taylor enjoys spending time with family as often as possible, and in her spare time she likes to draw fashion, play tennis, read and jog.

If you are looking for a home, reach out to Emerald Taylor, a new community advocate, who can assist people in achieving the ultimate American dream: home ownership.
